Kashmir Goat Curry
1kg of goat meat cut into squares 14 cup sultanas
6 dried apricots sliced
large onion chopped finely
2 teaspoons garam masala
1 cup of yogurtdessert spoon chopped garlic dessert spoon chopped ginger 2 teaspoons curry powder
black pepper salt
2 tablespoons ghee
Put yogurt. curry powder.garam masala. pepper and meat in a bowl, mix well and marinade for two hours. Put apricots and sultanas in water. Heat the ghee and fry the onion. garlic and ginger; when brown. add meat and the drained fruit. Stir for a few minutes. lower heat and simmer for two hours. For the simmering you can use a crock pot. Can be served with chapattis.
